Despite Sudan’s riches, this nation has suffered neglect, exploitation, and oppression from decades of unjust from the political rule of Kezan (people with power). This has culminated into Sudan’s uprising that started in December 2018 until July 2019. This thesis inquiry experiments with methods of illustration, typography, and speculative design to tell stories through a set of design projects that portray the extent of governmental neglect and the conditions and power of popular protest for international audiences. The project outcomes are reflectively assessed as to how they can raise awareness of Sudan’s political struggle to a global audience
